In 1998, the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training invited RMIT University Australia to open a university in Ho Chi Minh City. RMIT was given this honour because of its long-established education and research collaboration since 1992. As a result, the university was awarded the investment license in 2000, making RMIT the first fully-foreign University in Vietnam.
RMIT Vietnam has a world-class reputation for excellence in higher education, offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Business, Communication, Design, Technology and Languages.
